Stan Etkind has a wealth of experience which includes:

  • Founding member of Etkinds Consumer Electronic Chain Stores which was sold to Adcock Ingram Pharmaceutical Company.
  • Established Stans Consumer Electronic Chain Stores which extended to 11 stores, and was recognised as the most dominant specialist retailer in the Pretoria, Johannesburg and Vereeniging areas.     
  • Stans stores merged with Miltons in order to list on the Main Board of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE), under the name of Milstan. It was the most successful listing then in the history of the JSE. It was oversubscribed 221 times and generated half a billion rands in deposits. Stan Etkind’s position was Chairman and Joint Managing Director of 34 stores nationwide
